Replaces injection molded plastic "Weaver" rail with precision aluminum Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) / STANAG (2324 & 4694) accessory rail. Have you purchased a great optic for your Hi-Point rifle only to find that it either won't fit the profile of the rail properly or there is not enough open rail space to mount it? This replacement rail will solve your compatibility woes. The original factory rail incorporates "Weaver" type recoil slots that are too small for MIL-STD/STANAG recoil bolts & rods. The mounting hardware used for the original injection molded plastic protrudes into the recoil slots and rail does not have sufficient clearance from the forend cover surface which can cause interference with the clamps on standard accessories. Furthermore, the factory rail has inconsistent clamping surfaces and often significant warpage and bow over its length.

Simple installation - no modifications required to original firearm. Retains use of original factory mounting locations. Includes socket head cap screw & coupling set. Increased rail length (156 mm versus factory rail 135 mm) & increased profile height (13.1 mm versus factory 12 mm) along with recessed mounting hardware insures full clamping length is usable.
